Examples of routine tests that are considered exempt are: blood or urine tests for drugs, alcohol, cholesterol levels, glucose levels, hormone levels and/or prostate specific antigens; tests to monitor organ functions; therapeutic drug monitoring tests; pregnancy tests; and biopsies for cancer.
