My dog or child ingested an ice pack — will they be ok?

Please keep cold packs out of reach of children and pets.

If a cold pack is accidentally ingested, our formulations are non-toxic and safe to handle. The contents are approximately 99% water and 1% food-grade thickener (similar to what’s used in milkshakes). Ingestion may cause mild digestive discomfort, such as diarrhea.

Bring the correct Safety Data Sheet (SDS) to your veterinarian or physician based on the product family involved (Ice-Brix®, Grab & Go, or Re-Freez-R-Brix™).

Please also note that the plastic film itself can pose an obstruction risk if swallowed. Make sure to share this information with medical professionals.
